Cyril Demaria-Bengochea is Head of Private Markets Strategy at the Chief Investment Office department of Julius Baer. He chairs the Private Markets Investment Committee and provide in-depth market research, analysis to identify emerging trends, opportunities and risks in private markets. He provides expert advice to clients on private markets, shaping and delivering strategic and tailored solutions. Previously, he was notably Partner in charge of Private Markets at Wellershoff & Partners, and Head of Private Markets Research at the Chief Investment Office of UBS. He is an Affiliate Professor at EDHEC Business School, and the author of multiple books, among them Introduction to Private Equity, Debt and Real Assets (Wiley, 3rd ed, 2020) translated in multiple languages, and Asset Allocation and Private Markets (Wiley, 2021).
