Roy leads the strategic asset allocation process at Galilei, applying a disciplined multi-asset class diversification framework inspired by the Yale endowment model. His role spans investment research leadership, manager and fund due diligence, and oversight of portfolio construction and risk management. He works closely with the investment team to ensure robust asset class correlation analysis, enabling portfolios to retain their diversification benefits across market cycles. Private market investments are primarily accessed through offshore limited partnerships, with tailored structuring to meet clients’ tax and jurisdictional requirements. For more liquid strategies such as private credit and secondaries, LTAFs are used to manage exposures and capital flows. A key milestone during Roy’s tenure has been the alignment of all client portfolios under a unified investment framework- a shift that has proven resilient in periods of market stress, including 2022 and April 2025. Most recently, the team has begun targeting niche private market strategies, such as lending to life sciences companies, where they see strong potential for enhanced risk-adjusted returns.
