Stephen Kattou

Stephen is responsible for the firm’s Alternative Investment offering and chairs the Alternative Investment Committee. In his role as Adviser, Stephen also provides long-term investment advice to his clients. Lincoln provides access to private market investments by allocating to third-party investment managers. Through the firm’s well-established network, Lincoln receives a high number of investment opportunities and those that make it through the due-diligence process are often capacity constrained, with a large GP commitment, and unavailable to the wider market. As a Limited Partner, gaining access to unique opportunities that are uncorrelated to public markets is of paramount importance at Lincoln. This is further evidenced by the team’s strong alignment of interests, with all Advisers at Lincoln personally allocating to each investment opportunity alongside their clients. Lincoln continues to seek access to intelligent, high-conviction investment opportunities which continue to be of great interest to clients seeking enhanced returns. Stephen and the team remain focussed on delivering diversified exposures to clients on an advised basis, which has included previous allocations to Growth Buyout, Global Secondaries, Forestry, Litigation Financing and a specialist Uranium Fund.
