William has over 15 years of experience encompassing investment advice and portfolio optimisation, and enjoys bringing this world to life in a friendly and engaging way. His career has bridged time spent in front of clients as well as in investment engine rooms. Most of his decade at Barclays was focused on strategic asset allocation research, while at Oxford Risk he worked on data science relating to behavioural finance. At Weatherbys, William is responsible for overseeing the investment portfolios that form the ‘core wealth reserve’ of our clients’ financial plans. He also maintains a panel of third-party managers who cater to bespoke investment needs. William holds a First Class Master's in Mathematics from Imperial College London, where he was awarded a G-Research award for Academic Excellence. He is a CFA® Charterholder and a member of the London Quant Group, where he has spoken about his research on the topic of diversification. Outside work, he is mostly preoccupied with transporting and entertaining his daughter.
